Job summary

Darwill in Hillside, IL is seeking an analytical AR Billing Specialist to manage invoicing for complex print, data processing and mailing campaigns. You will handle daily and monthly invoicing, apply postage and taxes, and track cash receipts for high-volume transactions.

The role requires 2+ years AR experience in manufacturing or direct mail, a high school diploma, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years AR experience in manufacturing, commercial print, or direct mail fulfillment.
• High school diploma required; accounting/finance coursework is a plus.
• Familiarity with print production terminology, USPS postage classes, or mail clearinghouse workflows preferred.
• Proficiency with manufacturing ERP software and intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong numerical skills and accuracy in high-volume transactions.

Responsibilities

• Daily invoicing: generate accurate invoices; apply postage, freight and taxes; update the job’s commissionable portion.
• Monthly invoicing: create customer-owned inventory storage invoices; coordinate with Account Managers; prepare batch invoices.
• Automotive invoicing: generate invoices weekly, track expenses in Excel, coordinate hosting payouts with contractors.
• Review and collect customer postage requests before mailing due dates.
• Assist in investigating and resolving invoice questions or discrepancies.
• Review aging accounts and proactively contact customers for timely collections.
• Backup cash application: post daily payments to client accounts and job files.
