Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group in Cumming, GA is seeking a detail-oriented AR Billing Specialist to join our growing accounting team on-site. You will manage accounts receivable, contract billing, reconciliations, and month-end close in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with teammates to ensure accurate invoicing and timely cash flow.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of billing experience, a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), strong Excel skills, and excellent data entry accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Accounts Receivable or Billing experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and post customer invoices accurately.
• Perform daily accounts receivable transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting, and recording payments.
• Process contract billing and maintain customer contract files.
• Perform monthly billing and account reconciliations.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities.
• Prepare reports and account analyses.
• Recommend and participate in process improvements.
• Complete other accounting and administrative projects as needed.
