Job summary

Avidex in Cary, NC seeks an Accountant - Accounts Receivable (AR) to support project billing and general accounting. You will help ensure accurate invoicing, timely revenue collection, and GAAP compliance while contributing to process improvements.

The role collaborates with project teams, operations, and Finance leadership, supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Avidex offers growth and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 2+ years in accounting, AR, or project billing.
• GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly project billings and invoices.
• Develop SOVs for AIA billing documentation.
• Reconcile project balances and related balance sheet accounts.
• Perform journal entries and account reconciliations for closes.
• Support internal controls and external audits.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for audits.
