Aquatics Swim Instructor (Paid Training)

We are looking for FUN people to join our team!

Jump on in and enjoy your job! Working at British Swim School is so much more than just employment; it’s an opportunity to teach children and adults skills that may save their lives. Most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged children, and our staff enjoy working with this young age group while also putting parents at ease. Experience working with children or in a child-oriented business is preferred, although not necessary if you can demonstrate the desired attitude. This position includes paid, structured training in our highly developed British Swim School methodology.

POSITION
SWIM INSTRUCTOR (we'll train you!)

COMPENSATION
$18 - $22 per hour

Upon completing the training program, Swim Instructors teach water acclimation, survival, and stroke development skills to students of all ages and abilities. In this role, you will ensure British Swim School safety policies & procedures are followed and attend periodic in-service trainings to remain up to date on British Swim School standards.

• Successful candidates are reliable, nurturing, energetic, and love to have fun
• NO competitive swimming background or swim instruction experience is required

REQUIREMENTS

• Confident in the water (familiar with all four strokes)
• Complete the British Swim School Training program (paid)
• Enjoy working with children and adults of varying ability in a positive way
• Upbeat and ready to have fun at work - Having fun is mandatory!
• Must be 17 years of age or older

(Preferred)

• Teaching or coaching experience
• CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard Certifications
