Job summary

St. Augustine Preparatory Academy is seeking an Aquatics Manager for our South campus. The role oversees daily swimming facility operations, manages programs, and ensures safety and high-quality aquatic experiences for students and staff.

The position requires leadership, program development, and strong supervision of lifeguards and instructors, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities are essential.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills required.
• Proven problem-solving and interpersonal skills in a team setting.
• Effective oral and written communication abilities expected.
• Experience supervising aquatic staff and coordinating programs preferred.
• Ability to manage schedules and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the swimming facility and programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage swim programs and events.
• Recruit, train, and supervise lifeguards and instructors.
• Maintain safety protocols, training, and incident reporting.
• Coordinate facility maintenance and equipment readiness.
• Monitor enrollment and adjust staffing as needed.
• Prepare regular program performance reports and communications.
• Develop marketing materials to promote aquatic programs.
