Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aquatics Director to manage aquatic facilities and programs, ensuring safety, quality, and success across swim lessons, teams, and community initiatives. The role involves supervising lifeguards, instructors, and support staff while overseeing budgets and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of aquatics management experience, strong water safety knowledge, and proven leadership and program development skills to foster community

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in aquatics management or supervision.
• Strong knowledge of water safety, pool operations, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in program development and staff training is essential.
• Relevant certification such as Lifeguard Instructor Trainer or CPO is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of aquatic facilities and programs.
• Develop and enforce comprehensive safety policies and procedures for aquatics.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise lifeguards, instructors, and staff.
• Manage the aquatics budget, including fees, staffing costs, and maintenance.
• Organize and promote aquatic events and community programs.
