Job summary

The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center of Milwaukee is seeking an Aquatics Coordinator to join our hybrid leadership team. This role blends hands‑on lifeguarding and swim instruction with program management, spending 30–35 hours in direct service and leading the Private Swim program.

You will mentor staff, manage enrollments via Traction Rec, and ensure smooth operations while maintaining safety and high‑quality teaching across programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of swim instruction and/or lifeguarding experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent mix of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Safe Pool Deck through lifeguarding and enforcement of rules.
• Lead the Private Swim Program including scheduling and instructor pairing.
• Provide high‑quality swim instruction and coaching; teach ARC courses.
