The Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC in Milwaukee is seeking a dynamic Aquatics Coordinator to join our Aquatics Leadership Team. This hybrid role blends hands-on deck work with program management, spending 30–35 hours a week on lifeguarding, swim instruction, and coaching while leading the Private Swim program.

Qualifications include 2+ years in swim instruction or lifeguarding, current Lifeguarding with CPR/AED/First Aid, and a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of swim instruction and/or lifeguarding experience
• Current Lifeguarding certification with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Preferred: American Red Cross LGI and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent mix of education and experience)

Responsabilités

• Maintain a Safe Pool Deck (Lifeguarding) and enforce safety standards
• Lead the Private Swim Program, scheduling and instructor pairing
• Direct service & coaching including group/private instruction and swim team coaching
• Provide staff training, onboarding, and ongoing lifeguard/instructor in-services
• Manage enrollments, transfers, and refunds using Traction Rec and maintain rosters
