Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21
• At least 1 year experience managing a department budget, staffing and supervision of staff
• Relevant aquatics experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Aquatics department staff, budget, fundraising and program/membership experience
• Ensure adequate lifeguard coverage and safety trainings
• Develop staff through recruitment, training and performance reviews
• Maintain records, reports and budgets to meet YMCA standards
• Oversee facilities, safety procedures and compliance with health regulations
• Engage with members and community to promote program enrollment and retention
• Support Strong Community Campaign and fundraising efforts
• Participate in branch management and professional development activities
