Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a dynamic Aquatics Manager for our Racine, WI client site. You will lead the overall aquatics program, supervise staff, recruit and train personnel, manage daily operations, and support programming development.

The role requires 2+ years of aquatic supervisory experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and current lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certifications. Occasional evenings/weekends are expected as part of facility operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, recreation, or related field.
• 2+ years aquatic experience including supervision.
• Lifeguard with First Aid/CPR/AED per Red Cross (if not current, within 30 days).
• Ability to lead and operate a community, recreation, or fitness center.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; motivate others.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to navigate onboarding and timecard systems.
• Flexible to work some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational, administrative, and programming aspects of the aquatics facility.
• Recruit, train, schedule staff and manage daily operations.
• Assist in developing and evaluating aquatics programming and events.
• Coordinate marketing materials and data reporting for outcomes.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper data handling per HealthFitness requirements.
