Job summary

Watermelon Swim is seeking leaders for our Tampa Bay aquatic programs. This full-time role focuses on guiding teams, teaching safety skills, and upholding our community-focused mission.

Key requirements include 18+, recent leadership experience, and a strong customer-service background. You may travel to all Watermelon Swim locations. CPR/First Aid within 45 days and Lifeguarding within 90 days are mandatory; two references are required.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+: You need to be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Leadership Role:Have you been in a leadership position for the last 6 months or more? Great! Full-time experience is also required.
• Kid-Friendly:Whether through work or volunteering, you should have at least 6 months of experience engaging with children.
• Customer Service Savvy:A minimum of 6 months in a customer service job is required.
• Preferred Experience:An aquatics background is preferred. Experience in swim instruction, lifeguarding, coaching, education, recreation, or other roles focused on teaching and developing others is highly valued.
• Willing to Travel: You should be open to visiting all Watermelon Swim locations.
• Certifications Needed: Get trained in CPR/First Aid within 45 days, and Lifeguarding within 90 days of hitting the ground running with us.
• References: Submit 2 letters of reference for consideration.
