Job summary

Watermelon Swim is seeking dynamic individuals with strong leadership and a passion for teaching in a community-focused environment. The role emphasizes safety, supervision, and delivering engaging aquatic experiences across multiple locations in the Tampa Bay area.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience, customer-service skills, and a background in aquatics. Training in CPR/First Aid and Lifeguarding will be provided within the stated timelines, with a strong emphasis on community impact.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to apply.
• Leadership role in the last 6 months or more; full-time experience required.
• Experience engaging with children (≥6 months).
• Minimum 6 months in a customer service job.
• Aquatics background preferred; swim instruction, lifeguarding, coaching, education, recreation or related roles are valued.
• Willing to travel to all Watermelon Swim locations.
• CPR/First Aid training within 45 days; Lifeguarding training within 90 days of starting.
• Submit 2 letters of reference.
