Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to ensure a safe, welcoming environment at our state-of-the-art pools. You will monitor the deck, oversee water slides, and assist with events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

The role requires BLS CPR, StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification, and the ability to swim 300 yards. Excellent guest interaction and safety awareness are essential traits.

Qualifications

• Must be working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from pool bottom and swim to surface.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure safety of Members.
