Qualifications

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety-minded and customer service-oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment overseeing recreational and lap pools, both indoor and outdoor. Responsibilities include monitoring the pool deck, maintaining water slide safety, and assisting with aquatics events such as "Dive in Movies" and "Poolapalooza."

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with Members
• Rescue swimmers in danger and administer first aid
• Warn swimmers about potentially dangerous areas and activities
• Keep the pool area clean and safe for Members

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• Lifeguard and First Aid Certified
• Ability to work stationary and move around the club for prolonged periods
• Effective communication with guests regarding Life Time products and services
• Swim 300 yards/meters continuously
• Tread water for 1 minute
• Retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the pool bottom and swim to the surface
• Bend routinely to lift more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience

Pay

This hourly position offers wages starting at $14.25, up to $17.00 based on experience and qualifications.
