Romulus Athletic Center seeks an Aquatics Director to lead the day-to-day operations of the aquatics center, including leisure/rehab and competitive pools, lessons, meets, and events. Safety, maintenance, and program quality are central to the role.

You will supervise lifeguards and staff, coordinate with marketing for lessons and events, and drive annual budgeting and financial tracking to support community programs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in recreation, sports management or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience supervising lifeguards or related staff is desirable.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Recruits, trains, supervises, and schedules staff and volunteers.
• Develops emergency action plans and safety drills for aquatics.
• Manages program marketing with the Marketing Department.
• Develops and maintains partnerships with key organizations related to aquatics.
• Produces annual budgets and monitors revenue/expenses.
• Maintains pool chemical balancing and equipment upkeep.
• Updates attendance and activity records for reporting.
