Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Leisure and Recreation Service or related field, plus 2 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and have required certifications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops a maintenance schedule for the aquatic facility and documents daily upkeep.
• Monitors pool activities, enforces safety rules, and coordinates with management.
• Plans aquatic programs and activities including swim lessons and events.
• Directs lifeguards and aquatic staff and oversees training.
• Maintains chemical logs and ensures health code compliance.
• Hires and trains new program staff as needed.
