The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is currently accepting applications for an Aquatics Coordinator.
The Raritan Bay Area YMCA has served the ever-evolving needs of our community since 1912. We are located just 5 miles west of New York City in the beautiful Waterfront City of Perth Amboy, NJ. The YMCA is dedicated to building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities through programs that develop the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith. We devotedly serve over 6,000 community participants and families in our community building initiatives through Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social Responsibility.
Under the direction of the Aquatics Director, the Aquatics Coordinator helps plan, develop, manage, coordinate and conduct aquatics programs including: 2nd Grade Swim, teaching and coordinating swimming lessons, maintaining aquatic facilities, training aquatic staff, implementing and conducting a diversified aquatics program and aquatics events, and performing other departmental activities as required.

This is a part-time position. 20 hours/week - must be flexible and able to work days and/or evenings and be available for weekends. Hours are subject to change based on the business demands; may lead up to a full time position.
