Job summary
Life Time Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach. You will assist the Head Swim Team Coach, write and head group workouts, register new participants, and help maintain clean aquatic facilities.
You will guide daily practices, encourage technique development, and promote Life Time products and services. This hourly role pays $16–$19 per hour, depending on experience and certifications, with Life Time benefits eligibility.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of swim coaching experience.
- ASCA member.
- USA Swimming member.
- Complete Life Time Swim Instructor Certification.
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs on a routine basis.
- Lifeguard certification (StarGuard Elite) or equivalent; BLS CPR and First Aid.
- Lifeguard certification within 60 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Offers competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique.
- Runs daily practices under the direction of the head coach.
- Promotes Life Time products, services and programs.
