Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach to support our swim program in a fast-paced club environment. You will assist the head coach in writing and leading Swim Team Group Workouts, register new participants, and help maintain clean, orderly aquatic facilities.

You will collaborate with the Head Swim Team Coach to develop sessions, promote Life Time offerings, and ensure safety and quality of instruction across indoor and outdoor pools.

Qualifications

1 year of swim coaching experience.
Member of ASCA.
Member of USA Swimming.
Successfully complete Life Time Swim Instructor Certification.
Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
Ability to lift 20 lbs or more on occasion.

Responsibilities

Offers competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique.
Runs daily practices under the direction of the head coach.
Promotes all Life Time products, services and programs.

ASCA Level 1 Certification

ASCA Member

Education

High School Diploma or GED

ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher

Lifeguard Certification (StarGuard Elite)

Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
