Job summary

You will recruit, hire, train, certify, and supervise a student staff of 15–25, and oversee program marketing and registration.

Responsibilities include ensuring facilities readiness, coordinating private lessons, maintaining equipment, and providing lifeguard coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding and Water Safety Instructor certifications.
• Obtain Lifeguarding Instructor certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage Learn To Swim program logistics for 500+ participants.
• Recruit, hire, train, certify, schedule, supervise and evaluate a student staff of 15–25.
• Maintain program equipment and inventory; ensure readiness.
• Coordinate private swimming lessons and facility rentals.
• Provide lifeguard coverage and promote good public relations; ensure cleanliness.
• Prepare reports, payroll, inventory and related documentation.
