Job summary

The City of Allen's Aquatic Center is seeking an experienced supervisor to manage front desk operations, memberships, and patron services, ensuring a welcoming environment.

You will supervise lifeguard staff, coordinate training, monitor safety, and assist with budgets and program scheduling while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time role with varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation or related field plus one (1) year of relevant work experience.
• Associate's degree plus five (5) years of revelant work experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of revelant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and lead lifeguard staff including onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations.
• Serve as Manager on Duty, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship while promoting accountability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and certification requirements.
• Coordinate and conduct in-service training.
• Oversee daily facility operations, including opening/closing, front desk, cash handling.
• Respond to emergencies by activating Emergency Action Plans and providing first aid.
