Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking an APS implementation specialist to design and deliver advanced planning solutions for clients across industries. You will work with solution architects to translate requirements into functional designs and configure APS platforms to solve complex supply-chain problems.

You will collaborate with McKinsey’s internal product teams and external providers to shape roadmaps and ensure data integrity, testing, and effective issue resolution across regions and sectors.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in science, engineering, mathematics, business, MBA, or a master’s in supply-chain optimization, operations research, or industrial engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in supply-chain or related field.
• SAP IBP implementation experience required.
• Good understanding of demand planning, inventory optimization, supply-chain planning or operational supply-chain fundamentals.
• Familiarity with ERP, TMS, WMS data systems.
• Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, analytics, and visualization tools.
• Exposure to mixed‑integer linear programming, statistics, and machine learning.
• Good written and verbal English; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Advanced Planning Systems (APS) solutions for clients across industries.
• Collaborate with solution architects to define functional/technical designs and data requirements.
• Configure APS platform based on blueprint to address complex supply-chain problems.
• Create and execute data analytics test cases and track issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal product teams and third-party providers on solution roadmaps.
