Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a senior analytics professional to join MSC‑X across the United States, with offices in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, or Washington, DC. You will design and implement Advanced Planning Solutions (APS) for clients, leading projects from design to delivery.

You will work with solution architects and McKinsey product teams to build robust datasets, document data requirements, and configure APS platforms.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in science, engineering, mathematics, business, MBA, or a master’s degree in supply‑chain optimization, operations research, or industrial engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in supply‑chain or related field.
• SAP IBP implementation experience required.
• Good understanding of demand planning, inventory optimization, supply‑chain planning or operational supply‑chain fundamentals.
• Familiarity with supply‑chain data and data systems such as ERP, TMS, WMS.
• Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, analytics, and visualization tools.
• Exposure to advanced optimization techniques such as mixed‑integer linear programming, statistical analyses, and machine learning.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English are required; bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced digital planning solutions for clients.
• Lead the complete lifecycle of projects from design to delivery of APS solutions for clients across industries and geographies.
• Work with solution architects to develop clear functional and technical design, document data requirements and build complex datasets, and configure the APS platform based on the blueprint laid out during design.
• Collaborate with McKinsey’s internal product teams as well as third‑party planning solution providers to shape future solution roadmaps.
