Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Healogics Wound Care department. The Advanced Practice Provider will work a mix of inpatient and outpatient care at CDH and Marianjoy, with rounds at both facilities.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, with no call, weekends, or nights. Requires a Master’s degree and active IL RN/APRN licensure, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant program required.
• Active IL RN or APRN license with full privileging.
• BLS/CPR certification and acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to patients in wound care setting.
• Prescribe and manage medications and therapies within scope of practice.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals on patient management.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up.
