Job Overview

American Family Care is recruiting an APRN, PA or NP for its urgent care centers in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Trumbull and Shelton, CT. The position offers a competitive salary range of $125,000–$160,000 per year, a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, and 100% paid malpractice insurance. Additional benefits include CME reimbursement, a comprehensive benefits package, and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality patient care and manage all patient care while on shift.
• Ensure charts are completed accurately using the EMR system.
• Administer common medications to urgent care patients.
• Operate in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented clinical environment.
• Provide care for patients aged 3 months and up.
• Cover weekend shifts as required.
• Utilize on‑site digital X‑ray and CLIA‑approved laboratory facilities.
• Work collaboratively with a highly‑trained medical staff.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice.
• Active Connecticut medical license and DEA number.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Ability to perform urgent care procedures for all ages.
• Experience with workers‑compensation services is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not mandatory.
