We are looking for a friendly and energetic Physician Assistant (PA) for our urgent care centers located in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Trumbull and Shelton CT. Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care
• Manage all patient care while on shift
• Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed using EMR system
• Administer common medications for urgent care patients
• Work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented clinical office environment
• See patients ages 3 months and up
• Provide weekend coverage as needed
• Receive 100% paid malpractice insurance
• Receive CME reimbursement paid annually
• Work in an environment supported by highly-trained medical staff
• Use state‑of‑the‑art facilities and equipment, including on-site digital X‑ray and an on‑site CLIA approved laboratory

Education Requirements

• Obtain Department of Transportation (DOT) certification up to one year of employment

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice history
• Ability to perform typical urgent care procedures for all ages
• Excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and families
• Active and current Connecticut medical license
• Active and current DEA number
• Experience with EMR systems
• Experience providing Workers Compensation services preferred
• Bilingual is a plus but not mandatory
