Job summary

PhyicianOne Urgent Care Branford is seeking a Physician Assistant to evaluate and treat patients in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will perform laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, and foreign body removal while collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

We offer strong clinical support, thoughtful scheduling, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid State Medical License to practice medicine.
• DEA registration required for prescription authority.
• PALS and ACLS certifications strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups in an urgent care setting.
• Perform procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, and foreign body removal.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing teams, and specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner
• PALS and ACLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong procedural experience including laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and orthopedic-related conditions
• Relevant professional experience required
