Job summary

Lithia Ford Lincoln of Boise offers an Apprentice Technician position with a path from Quick Lube to a Master Technician mentorship. You will learn dealer and factory standards while performing routine maintenance and inspections on a range of vehicles.

The program includes a 3–6 month learning period, followed by pairing with a Master Technician for a 2-year mentorship, with additional earning potential discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
• Experience operating a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
