Job summary

Lithia Ford Lincoln of Boise is seeking Experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join our team in Boise. You will perform repairs per repair orders, diagnose issues, and ensure work meets Lithia and manufacturer standards, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience.
• ASE and manufacturer certification is not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and provide excellent customer service.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions.
• Complete work according to safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Document work performed on repair orders and log test results.
• Maintain an inventory of common mechanic tools.

Pay: Experienced A & B techs pay range: $22-40 flat rate

Department Hours: Monday-Friday; 7:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturdays 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

What You'll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results and time, per company recording and clocking procedures.
• Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience.
• ASE and manufacturer certification is not required.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
