Job summary

Lithia Ford Lincoln of Boise, part of Lithia & Driveway, is seeking an Apprentice Technician to begin in the Quick Lube and advance through a structured mentorship. The program starts with 3–6 months in the Quick Lube, followed by pairing with a Master Technician for a 2-year mentorship.

Upon successful completion, further earning potential will be discussed during interview with the Hiring Manager. As part of the team, you will learn to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and customer

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience in express/quick lube preferred but not required.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Acceptable driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.

Dealership: L0072 Lithia Ford Lincoln of Boise Lithia Ford Lincoln of Boise Hiring: Apprentice Technician Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience Schedule: Must have open availability work Monday through Saturday Service Department Hours: Monday through Friday; 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, and Saturday; 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

What You'll Do

• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
