Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Apprentice Optician to join our in-house team and help customers see clearly. You will learn to measure, fit, and adjust eyewear with precision, ensuring products meet our standards and customer expectations.

You will be mentored by a licensed or certified optician and grow skills in frame selection, prescription terminology, and service excellence, with a culture that emphasizes learning and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Learn from a mentor (licensed or certified optician) to meet customers' eyewear needs.
• Learn measurements, adjustment and fitting with accuracy.
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Work with team to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle.
• Collaborate to develop best practices for sales and service.
• Represent the brand and educate customers about Warby Parker values.
