Job summary

Warby Parker is opening a New Store and seeks Apprentice Opticians to join our in-house optical team. You will learn from licensed opticians, take accurate measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure products meet our standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will explain prescription terminology, help customers select frames and lenses to suit their needs, and collaborate with teammates to establish best practices that reflect our brand and mission.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with a mentor (licensed optician in licensed states) to learn how to meet customers' eyewear needs
• Learn to take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Learn how to check finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements
• Develop the expertise to explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Work with your team to ensure all customers receive exceptional service
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle
• Collaborate with the team to form best practices for sales and customer service
• Represent Warby Parker to educate others and share the brand values and mission
