Alluvion Health is seeking anApprentice Medical Assistant to join our team inChoteau, Montana. Our Medical Assistant Apprenticeship provides a structured, hands-on pathway to build the skills and experience needed to become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).

As a full-time Apprentice Medical Assistant, you arepaid for 40 hours each week, with:
You’ll learn while you work, gain real healthcare experience, and progressively move into the Medical Assistant role as you complete your training and competencies.
Apprentices generally begin by learning thePatient Access Specialist role, where you’ll build a strong foundation in patient communication, scheduling, registration, insurance and financial information, electronic medical records, and the day-to-day operations of a healthcare clinic.
At the same time,10 hours of your paid 40-hour workweek are dedicated to education and training as part of the apprenticeship program.
As you progress through the program, your education and hands-on training will move you into theMedical Assistant role, where you’ll develop clinical skills and work directly alongside our healthcare team.
After completing2,000 hours of work and training, you will be qualified to pursue the nationally recognizedCertified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification exam.
You may be able to move through the apprenticeship more quickly.
Candidates with at leasttwo years of qualifying prior experience — or a combined two years in qualifying roles — may receive credit for1,000 hours of on-the-job training.
