Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with overhead doors, dock equipment, loading dock systems, material handling equipment, gates, access control systems, or industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair overhead doors, dock levelers, dock restraints, dock shelters, dock seals, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural issues.
• Complete preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and safety.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and installation drawings.
• Perform adjustments, repairs, and component replacements using hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects safely and on schedule.
