The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of retail or related experience; prior meat cutting experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• One year retail or related experience preferred.
• Prior experience as Meat Cutter or Apprentice strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut and weigh meats into specified cuts and sizes.
• Prepare value-added products per guidelines.
• Follow recipes to grind, tray meats, and make sausages.
• Price, date, wrap and package meat products.
• Rotate and merchandise shelves and displays.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked department.
