Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an apprentice Mammography Technologist in Royal Oak, MI, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm. The role progresses from apprenticeship to a Mammography Tech upon completion, with a weekend rotation every fourth week.

The position requires completion of a radiography program, ARRT registration in good standing, BLS certification, and a strong commitment to ALARA principles in imaging.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in Radiography required.
• ARRT registration in good standing required.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic Mammography exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
• Ensure imaging quality while applying ALARA principles for radiation safety.
• Demonstrate good clinical skills to provide the best images for interpretation.

Job description

Apprenticeship-Monday to Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm.

Mammography is from Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with a weekend rotation every fourth week.

Scope of work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures perform diagnostic Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Associates degree. Graduated from accredited Radiography program required.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Must remain in good standing with ARRT Upon Hired Required.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association or Red Cross
