Job summary

Corewell Health's Care Center Southgate is seeking a Part-time Mammography Technologist to perform accurate mammography exams with high-quality imaging and professional judgment. The role supports patient-centered care in a busy outpatient imaging setting, with day shifts and 20 hours per week.

Requirements include an associate degree, ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications, BLS, and 1 year of radiography experience; JRCERT-accredited program preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT-accredited program.
• 1 year of relevant radiography experience; 1-3 years beyond staff radiographer preferred.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) – ARRT certification required on hire.
• CRT-Mammography (M) – ARRT certification required.
• CRT-BLS – AHA or ARC certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and policies.
• Contribute to patient-centered care in a team-oriented imaging department.

Scope of Work

Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Always follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Qualifications

• Required associate's degree. Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience; 1-3 Years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist required upon hire.
• CRT-Mammography (M) – ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist: 1 year required.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association required upon hire or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross required upon hire.
