Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking an Apprentice Lineman A for our electrical distribution projects in the United States. This entry-level role involves constructing and repairing overhead distribution lines, climbing structures, and working on energized and de-energized lines.

You may travel to different sites, including out-of-state locations, and report to the Foreman. Applicants should have at least 2 years of field experience and a valid CDL.

Qualifications

• Two years of field experience required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work extended hours and out-of-state assignments.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems with safety first.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, and hardware.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in extreme conditions and at heights.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other line equipment.
• Perform live-line work using gloves and hot-sticks when required.
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
