Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5 years experience in groundman and lineman work.
• Must live within one hour drive of West Monroe, LA.
• Possess at minimum a valid CDL-B license.
• Possess your own tools.
• Ability to handle physically demanding construction duties.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to hear long distances and have color vision.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to safety practices and procedures.
• Climb poles or use bucket access equipment.
• Construct, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems and substations.
• Verify grounding of equipment and manage work zones.
• Operate tools and materials to install/repair lines and cables.
• Dig holes and set poles; install cross-arms and insulators.
