Chain Electric Company is seeking an Apprentice Lineman B to assist in the construction, repair and maintenance of electrical distribution systems. This semi-skilled role involves performing tasks under supervision to support crews in overhead and underground work.

Candidates should have basic lineman experience, a CDL-B license, and physical stamina for lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather. Training opportunities are available while contributing to essential infrastructure.

Formación

• Minimum 2 1/2 years’ experience in groundman and lineman work.
• Ability to travel at a moment’s notice, anytime.
• Available to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Possess at a minimum a valid CDL-B license.
• Possess your own tools.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to see long distances and have color vision.

Responsabilidades

• Climb poles or use truck-mounted buckets to access equipment and work at heights.
• Safely construct, maintain, and repair electrical overhead and underground distribution systems and substations.
• String wire conductors and cables between poles and buildings, setting lines in place.
• Dig holes and set poles using augers, cranes and power equipment.
• Splice or solder cables and splice procedures as needed.
• Lay underground cable in trenches or through conduit.
