Job summary

Chain Electric Company is seeking an A-Lineman to safely perform skilled electrical work on distribution and transmission systems, both overhead and underground. The role may include supervision of others and requires adherence to safety standards in challenging weather conditions.

The candidate should have at least 4 years of related experience, possess a valid CDL-B license, and be able to lift 50 lbs and work independently or with a crew.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years directly related experience.
• Must have a valid CDL-B license.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in harsh weather.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety practices and procedures around energized lines.
• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment.
• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Inspect, test, and locate problems using electrical-testing instruments.
• Splice, connect, and install conductors and related components.
• Travel to job sites by truck or other conveyances as needed.
