Dubois Rural Electric Cooperative is seeking an Apprentice Lineman to assist in the construction and maintenance of electrical distribution systems. This position offers a comprehensive training program leading to a Journeyman Lineman role, while ensuring safe and efficient service delivery to the community. Dubois Rural Electric Cooperative (Dubois REC) has been a trusted provider of reliable and efficient electrical services to the 6 counties it serves in southern Indiana since 1939. We are committed to delivering high-quality service to our members while maintaining a strong focus on community and sustainability. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Lineman to join our team.
The Apprentice Lineman assists in the construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems. This position will progress through 4 years of Hoosier Energy Apprentice Training and Safety program (HEATS). This role will advance to Journeyman Lineman upon completion of the HEATS program. This role plays a key role in supporting the Cooperative’s mission to provide safe, reliable, and affordable electricity to the community.
