Job summary

Wiginton Fire Systems in Sanford (Orlando) seeks motivated individuals to train as Trainee/Apprentice Fire Alarm Service Technicians. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you'll learn to service, repair, and install fire alarm systems and other essential fire safety equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background screening.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, tools, equipment, and installation procedures.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Willingness to go through apprenticeship school and obtain state or national certifications.

Wiginton Fire Systems, a leader in fire protection, is seeking motivated individuals to train as Fire Alarm Service Technicians in our Sanford (Orlando) location.

Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • License: Valid driver’s license.
  • Physical Requirements: Comfortable working at heights, working outside, and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background screening.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Electronics, tools, equipment, and installation procedures.
  • Problem-solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Customer Service: Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Certifications: Willingness to go through apprenticeship school as well as state or national certifications.
