Job summary

Wiginton Fire Systems in Raleigh, North Carolina is looking for motivated individuals to start a career in the fire protection industry. The four-year Fire Sprinkler Apprenticeship Program is fully funded and combines hands-on field experience with structured training to develop the next generation of fire protection professionals.

As an apprentice, you will learn how to install, service, maintain, and inspect fire sprinkler systems while earning pay evaluations every six months and exploring

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and meet company driving requirements.
• Be able to complete pre-employment screening.
• Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Be comfortable working at heights and using ladders and lifts.
• Have a willingness to learn a skilled trade.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced professionals in a four-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must:

• Be at least 18 years old

Previous construction, mechanical, plumbing, maintenance, military, or skilled-trade experience is a plus, but it is not required.
