Job summary

Surface Experts in Chicago North is seeking a hands-on Technician to perform creative repairs at multiple sites and deliver excellent customer service to tenants and property managers. You will follow a unique 5-step repair process using your own tool-kit and report progress in our dispatch system.

The role emphasizes color matching skills, problem solving, and delivering high-quality workmanship with a team that values staying busy and growing with the company.

Qualifications

• Experience working with your hands in construction, manufacturing, painting, or related hobby.
• Ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors and match colors accurately.

Responsibilities

• Complete 4 or more creative repairs at different worksites each day.
• Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff.
• Track work progress and notes in our dispatch tool.
• Communicate with the support team with questions.
• Understand and utilize our unique 5-step repair process.
• Employ each tool in your custom tool-kit.
• Problem-solve repairs with creativity.

We Offer:

• Pay range of $21 to $25 per hour includes base pay and performance-based bonuses
• Monthly bonus program depending on add-on repairs
• Clear track to Surface Repair Technician with pay raise following training completion

Requirements

• Experience working with your hands - This could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or even a personal hobby
• An ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors - Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do
