BPM is seeking an Apprentice Bookkeeper in Las Vegas to support transactional accounting tasks and learn through two career tracks: Apprentice or Bookkeeper. Candidates should be familiar with QuickBooks Online and eager to expand accounting skills, with opportunities to pursue CPA eligibility.

The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and meeting deadlines within BPM’s flexible, supportive environment. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Some experience with transactional accounting and familiarity with an accounting software platform (Example: QuickBooks Online).
• Eagerness to expand knowledge and proficiency in accounting.
• Some completion of college-level coursework in the field of accounting (completed degree is not required).
• Strong inclination towards achieving the relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with accounts payable, customer invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
• Preparing business compliance filings such as 1099s, payroll, and sales tax.
• Demonstrating a fundamental understanding of accounting practices.
• Preparing and accurately documenting work papers.
• Delivering high-quality work products in compliance with BPM’s policies.
• Committing to deadlines and efficient communication.
• Building effective team relationships and communicating the status of work clearly.
