Job summary

Ovation Holdings Inc. in Frederick, MD is seeking a hands-on field service helper to support customers during field visits and assist the on-site technician with maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics.

You will diagnose errors, collaborate with the Service Coordinator team, and gather information for quotes and installations while building strong client relationships through practical, timely recommendations.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• Understanding wiring schematics, ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing customer service and support during field visits.
• Assist the general technician with on-site maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics.
• Help diagnose errors and determine appropriate next steps.
• Collaborate with the technical and Service Coordinator team to build positive relationships with clients and coworkers
• Fulfill customers’ needs by making appropriate, timely recommendations and briefings using the appropriate procedures and automation systems
• Establish system requirements, including gathering essential information for quotes and parts orders, and completing the installation.
• Build customer relationships and satisfaction by using ingenuity to investigate complaints, identify resolutions, suggest best operation practices, and recommend system improvements.
• Learn and absorb information through partnering with senior technician team members, through additional training, and professional development.
