Job summary

Weld County Assessor's Office is seeking a Data Collection/Valuation Lead to support fieldwork, data entry, and advanced appraisal tasks. The role involves inspections of various property types, sketching, and using mass appraisal software. It requires coordination with the Senior Appraiser and teamwork with data collectors.

The position offers flexible schedules and hybrid remote work opportunities, with a focus on accuracy and compliance in an ever-changing environment.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or 2 years of equivalent experience.
1 year experience in working with Microsoft Excel and Word.
1 year experience in building construction, real estate or appraisal for ad valorem purposes.
Excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, Access and Outlook; ability to learn mass appraisal and Apex sketching software.

Responsibilities

Perform fieldwork to collect property characteristic data for appraisal and valuation.
Enter data into the Assessor’s CAMS(MAS) and process Personal Property declarations.
Assist Senior Appraiser with special valuations and lead data collection efforts.
Communicate with property owners, real estate professionals and municipalities to gather listing information.
