Job summary

The Florida Department of Revenue is seeking an Appraiser II to oversee appraisal activities for the Property Tax Oversight Program. Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of single-property or mass appraisal experience.
• Experience collecting and analyzing large quantities of sale, income, and expense data.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel to compile, interpret, analyze, and display data.
• Experience in applying multiple approaches to value and proper appraisal methodology.

Responsibilities

• Appraise real property to determine market value for assessment purposes in accordance with guidelines.
• Conduct field inspections of real property, vacant and improved.
• Write and submit USPAP-compliant appraisal reports.
• Verify sales data and interview contractors, grantors, grantees, and real estate agents.
