Daikin Applied Americas is seeking an Applied Systems Branch Sales Manager in Marietta, GA. You will partner with the General Manager to set a five-year plan, define margins, and drive pipeline growth through sales engineers and CRM to win opportunities.

You will coach staff, lead regular sales meetings, collaborate with Marketing on product plans, and engage architects/consultants on value for green/LEED projects, while fostering professional development and performance with HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years related sales engineering experience.
• 8+ years of people leadership experience.
• Sales management experience in a commercial HVAC environment.
• Prior experience with engineering consultants and basis of design.
• Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
• LEED or environmental experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the General Manager to establish a five-year business plan.
• Set gross margin targets and guide the team to achieve them.
• Lead sales through sales engineers and manage pipeline, backlog, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing on product development plans and representations.
• Drive sales activity strategies and coach staff for closures.
• Lead and participate in regular sales meetings to refine strategies.
• Mentor sales engineers and create development plans.
• Manage performance expectations with HR and leadership.
• Educate architects and consultants on Daikin's value for LEED projects.
• Provide market and competitor intelligence through data analysis.
